PRE-ORDERS
A pre-order is an order placed for physical items that have not yet been manufactured or released. Pre-ordering has a number of benefits, including exclusive editions, extras, and discounted pricing. A pre-order phase typically remains open for 30 days, followed by a manufacturing phase, and then a shipping phase. Note that manufacturing and shipping phases may be subject to delays depending on the volume of orders, or supply-chain issues beyond our control.

When you place a pre-order, your chosen payment method will be charged on checkout and you will receive a confirmation email. Unfortunately we cannot modify pre-orders once the pre-order phase has closed, but we do offer full refunds on pre-orders at any time prior to shipping.

Once pre-order items are ready to start shipping, we ship pre-orders in the order that they were received. As soon as your order ships, we’ll send you a confirmation email. If your pre-order includes a download code, the code will be sent as soon as the digital version becomes available. Note that pre-orders that are ordered together with in-stock items or other pre-orders will only ship once all items are available.

ORDER FULFILMENT
Unless otherwise indicated, all of our games and merchandise are typically in stock and ready to ship, but please allow up to 28 days for us to prepare your order. You will receive an email notification from the store as soon as your order has been dispatched. 

DIGITAL EDITIONS
Digital goods are handled separately from physical goods. Within 72 hours of your order you will receive an email containing a download key for itch.io, which allows you to access your purchase at any time and receive notifications whenever the digital product is updated.

POSTAL RATES
All postal rates are calculated according to the amount of items you place in your shopping cart. In most cases, the shipping fee is a flat rate, with an additional fee for each additional item in your cart.

OVERSEAS ORDERS
All orders outside of the UK are dispatched using INTERNATIONAL TRACKED delivery, and take approximately 3-5 days (EU countries) and approximately 7-10 days (rest of world).

PAYMENT METHODS
The Thalamus Digital store accepts payment via PayPal and credit/debit card payments via Stripe.

DAMAGES & RETURNS
In the unfortunate event that your goods arrive damaged, please contact us within seven (7) days in order for us to submit a claim to the Royal Mail and organise a replacement. In the unlikely event that you receive the wrong item, or find that items are missing from your order, please contact us within fourteen (14) days so that we can rectify the issue.
